TWU Alumni Award …

This month I was able to travel back to my Home and Native Land for an Alumni Awards Gala at my alma matter. It was an interesting chance to reflect back on who I was as a young student and how my life has changed since. My main takeaway from revisiting the campus was that the trees had all gotten a lot bigger! They also made this nifty little introductory video. If you’ve ever wanted to catch a glimpse of my workspace or home, this is your chance:

Awesome video! I love that you write for yourself, what you love to read. I love to read your books too, and I’ve definitely felt that sense of wonder and surprise. Keep on writing, and don’t get too annoyed by that pesky Peter Nimble who keeps nagging you for not typing fast enough ;-).

Awesome video. That was a great way to explain the virtues of appreciating wonder. It helped me to understand it more completely.

  • I agree the video is cool–though I can take little credit. The guys who put it together were great!

Thank you for The Night Gardener! It was a fantastic read and I am looking forward to reading your other books. Thanks for your great comments too on the video. I agree, the world is vying for our time every second. It’s lovely to get lost in a book, no matter how old you are.

    Cheers, Teri
